"The 'Sergeant' Vocational Education School was originally established as an independent unit under the name 'Police Primary Training Center' subordinate to the Police Academy, following Order No. 239 of the Commissioner of the National Police Agency on November 7, 1997."

Department of Emergency Management Service

The Department of Emergency Management Service at the "Sergeant" Vocational Education School organizes four newly implemented competency-based academic programs at the request of the National Emergency Management Agency. These specialized programs include "Rescuer-Firefighter," "Primary, Special, and Auxiliary Fire Engine Driver and Aerial Ladder Technician," "Rescuer-Communicator," and "Rescuer."
