"The 'Sergeant' Vocational Education School was originally established as an independent unit under the name 'Police Primary Training Center' subordinate to the Police Academy, following Order No. 239 of the Commissioner of the National Police Agency on November 7, 1997."
The Department of Border Service at the "Sergeant" Vocational Education School organizes competency-based training programs in accordance with approved curricula and plans. These include the one-year "Border Guard Sergeant" vocational education program, professional training for "Border Checkpoint Inspector," "Border Guard," and "Contracted Sergeant," as well as specialized courses for "Border Guard Officer" and "Border Port Security."
