The Central Library of the University of Internal Affairs was originally established in 1982 as the "Library of the Higher School of the Ministry of Public Security" with a collection of 2,000 books and a single librarian. It was expanded into the Central Library of the University of Internal Affairs by Order No. A/221 of the Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs on May 29, 2025. Currently, the library operates with a staff of 19 and offers a collection of over 92,000 items, including books, textbooks, manuals, and academic theses (Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral). The library features 9 collection funds and 20 reading rooms with a total seating capacity of over 700.
