It operates with the mission to establish a unified training system for the Border Protection Agency, create favorable internal and external learning environments, and expand the content and forms of training through new, adaptable professions at the Bachelor's, Master's, Doctoral, and vocational education levels.
The department was originally established by Order No. B/14 of the President of the Law Enforcement University on January 11, 2017. It implements the Bachelor's degree program in "Operation of Border Protection Engineering Facilities and Technical Equipment." Additionally, the department organizes training to provide theoretical knowledge of border engineering support to students and cadets enrolled in the Bachelor’s programs for "Border Studies," "Checkpoint Service," "Economics," and "Psychology."
