The mission is to prepare police officers who are capable of applying foundational theoretical knowledge from the social sciences, humanities, and natural sciences in the execution of professional duties to ensure national security, social order, and citizen safety. These officers shall fully possess the legal and professional expertise required to perform core police functions, including combating crime, protecting public order, and ensuring public safety. Furthermore, they will be characterized by a deep-seated commitment to patriotism, the rule of law, justice, and the protection of human rights and freedoms. Candidates will meet all health, physical, psychological, ethical, and communication standards, demonstrating the capacity for lifelong learning, self-development, and adaptability to any evolving environment.
The mission of the department is to produce, foster, and support scholars and researchers who contribute to the development of criminal procedure science and law, and to lead in peer-review activities. We are dedicated to perfecting the training of legal professionals, investigators, and police officers in criminal procedure, thereby contributing to a skilled human resource pool that meets the needs of the nation and the public.
The department is responsible for developing the theory and practice of criminal proceedings, preparing specialized personnel, and organizing academic, research, and methodological activities. Key functions include:
Refining and updating academic curricula, plans, standards, and content;
Integrating modern methodologies and technologies into the training process;
Instilling professional knowledge, practical skills, and ethics in cadets and students;
Organizing scientific research and implementing results into practice;
Studying pressing issues in the practice of criminal proceedings and developing proposals and recommendations;
Collaborating with law enforcement agencies and organizing internships and joint training;
Supporting the professional development and capacity building of faculty and researchers;
Developing and publishing academic works, manuals, and textbooks.
The department provides training across all levels of education—Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate—at the Police School.
