On June 19, a commemorative reunion for the 1986 graduates of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) Military College was held at the "General Hall" of the University of Internal Affairs (UIA).
The event was attended by:
Police Colonel G. Buyankhishig, Vice President of University of Internal Affairs and Director of the Military Organization and Security Department;
Police Colonel Ts. Otgondavaa, Head of the Administrative Management Department, UIA;
Police Colonel P. Batbaatar, Head of the Administrative Management Department of the National Police Agency;
Police Colonel Ts. Sugarjav, Head of the Training Policy and Coordination Department;
Former professors and faculty members of the MPS Military College, and the graduates of the Class of 1986.
The institution’s history dates back to 1974, when the MPS Military Special Vocational School was established. It was later expanded into the MPS Military College in July 1982. The Class of 1986 is particularly significant as they were the very first intake of students following the school's elevation to a Military College. During the ceremony, graduates were honored with awards from both the University of Internal Affairs and the broader internal affairs sector.
